I'm sorta bipolar when it comes to filming. I always enjoy documenting good times but some days the vx is just meant to stay in the bag. Enter a new medium: bro cam. None of the responsibility of maintaining expensive equipment and filming things decently when yr using a $40 hunk o' junk...a light weight and pocket-portable hunk o'junk at that. Nobody cares with bro cam! That very indifference intrigues me most. The purity of skateboarding is so often lost when consciously trying to film for a video. Hopefully my new toy allows me to capture the best of both worlds(Hannah Montana reference intended)
Bro-cam snapshotz:
I only filmed half the day. After Bell we went over to Parkside for a chunky ledge sesh. Trevor tried the boardslide(above) cuz I wanted to test out my new Tokina 10mm but we got rained out by a freak storm. After parkside, the crew split and Trevor, the Canadians(and Brazillian)((whom I didn't document)) and I went to Snatch where we watched razor scooter boiz get buck. Trevor got a back d and piv fakie on the Jenki Wall for the homie's Canada Cam while I sat and lurked. Good times.
Post two, wooo!!!
